The Sangguniang Panlalawigan ng Bataan presided by Vice Gov. Cris Garcia passed a resolution strongly supporting Senate Bill No. 297. Entitled, “An act providing automatic promotion of government officials and employees upon retirement from government service and for other purposes”, the bill has been unanimously endorsed by the provincial government.

The resolution was sponsored by Board Member Popoy Del Rosario. The move is seen as a positive step in recognizing the hard work of government officials and employees as they retire from service.
